Gloucester Cultural Council Grants

City-level grants for local artists and cultural programming funded through the Mass Cultural Council. Annual cycle, typically $250 – $1,100.

Mass Cultural Council Fellowships

State-level artist fellowships in visual arts, choreography, playwriting, and more. $15,000 unrestricted awards; $5,000 finalist awards.

Essex County Community Foundation

Regional grants through the Creative County Initiative — up to $25,000 for arts projects. ALAANA Artist Grants up to $5,000.

MASSCreative

Statewide advocacy and professional development network for Massachusetts creatives — not a direct grant, but a key resource for policy and community.

Art Haven

Arts education nonprofit at 180 Main St, Gloucester — youth programs, community classes, and The Hive Community Center.

Rocky Neck Art Colony

One of America's oldest working art colonies. Home to the Goetemann Artist Residency — one-month studio residencies May through October.
