How It Works

Just show up and start walking

1

Find a story post

Look for the engraved granite markers along the waterfront and downtown streets. Each one marks a story.

2

Scan the QR code

Use your phone's camera to scan the code on the post. It links to the Walking Cinema app — no download required.

3

Listen, watch, explore

Each post unlocks audio narration, archival photos, video, and historical context — a pocket museum at every stop.

Accessible by Design

Built for everyone

Designed by Cambridge Seven Associates, the HarborWalk features barrier-free access with recycled glass and crushed granite paving, making the trail navigable for wheelchairs, strollers, and visitors of all mobility levels.

The multimedia content at each story post is delivered through a mobile-friendly web app — no special equipment or downloads needed.
