A square mile of art, heritage and harbor

The Harbortown Cultural District anchors downtown Gloucester — from St. Peter's Square along the waterfront to Harbor Loop. It is home to year-round programming, working artists, and the living history of the working waterfront.

Gloucester’s Main Street is becoming an outdoor art gallery this summer as eight local and regional artists transform storefront windows into vibrant public murals through Imagining Gloucester's Future, a new public art initiative celebrating Gloucester's identity, creativity, and future.
